| Dorin Salver Donation |
|
After the Dorin Salver we have donated £2934 to Christopher's, the Shooting Star Children's Hospice in Guildford.
This compares favourably with the £2814 raised last year, considering that neither Farnham nor Camberley took part this year.
We had two new clubs – By the Wey and Bletchingley, and the most popular day of the week was Thursday with 137 pairs compared with 114 last year.
We had one out of county club this year – Douglas – who also played last year.

| Surrey a close second in the Final of the Tollemache Cup |

The Tollemache Cup (the EBU inter-county championships for teams of eight) Final was held over 31st January and 1st February - face to face in Cambridge
8 Counties had qualified for the Final
Surrey came a close second to Warwickshire , finishing only 3 VPs behind, and a clear 13 VPs ahead of Middlesex, the 3rd placed County
