Friendly Bridge Club - Plano will not be open on this Thursday 1/15/26.  We encourage you to play at Denton's local sectional. They will have two games a day on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at their club at 9am and 1:30pm each day.  The link to the flyer for the tournament is 2601349.pdfPoints are 80% Silver, 20% Black

Let's Learn Bridge

Beginning Bridge Lessons are ready to begin again.  Do you have a group that would like to start from the beginning?  We can use Audrey Grant's Bridge Basics series.

Lesson 1 - Introduction - The Basics 

Lesson 2 - One No Trump Openings and Responses

Lesson 3 - One of a Major Openings and Responses

Lesson 4 - One of a Minor Openings and Responses 

Lesson 5 - Structured Play including hands with 1 level opening bids 

If you are ready to move on to more advanced topics - we can do that too.  Let me know where your group is bridgewise, and we can work from there.

Rising intermediate lessons/Structured Play Sessions in Plano on Wednesday afternoons at 1:15pm has resumed.  Each lesson is standalone. Join us if you want to improve your bidding and play.  Please text or email me and I can give you the location details.  We will be meeting this Wednesday 1/7 and again on 1/21.  

If you are interested in a particular lesson or series, please reach out to me at 972-814-8801 or at vjremmers@gmail.com. Most group lessons are $25 per person, or pre-pay for five lesson series for $100 (thus lessons are $20/each) and includes the book if applicable or a free play at Friendly.  The Wednesday Play and Learn sessions are $20 each.
