If you can help re-stock the area food pantries by making a donation to NTFB (North Texas Food Bank). Our Dallas Venue - King of Glory - has made it easy for you by placing collection boxes in their atrium - at the top of the stairs.  Just drop in your donation the next time you play at King of Glory in Dallas (no glass containers). The items most needed are 16 oz peanut butter, 14-16 oz canned fruit, 8 oz unflavored shelf stable milk, 5 oz canned tuna and chicken, 15-16 oz low sodium canned vegetables, and 1-2 oz individual bags of trail mix.

Let's Learn Bridge

Beginning Bridge Lessons are underway on Tuesday evenings at our Dallas location at 6411 LBJ Freeway.   Here is the current schedule:

Lesson 1 - Introduction - The Basics - 11/18 - completed

Lesson 2 - One No Trump Openings and Responses - 12/2

Lesson 3 - One of a Major Openings and Responses - 12/9

Lesson 4 - One of a Minor Openings and Responses - 12/16

Lesson 5 - Structured Play including hands with 1 level opening bids - 12/23

Our Thursday evening classes are continuing with Audrey Grant's Book 3 - Popular conventions at my home in Plano.  Here is the current schedule:

Lesson 1 - Stayman Convention - 11/13 - completed

Lesson 2 - Jacoby Transfers - 11/20 - completed

Lesson 3 - Strong Two Bids - 12/4

Lesson 4 - Slam Bidding - 12/11

Lesson 5 - Structured Play including hands covering all the above topics - 12/18

Rising intermediate lessons/Structured Play Sessions in Plano on Wednesday afternoons at 1:15pm will resume on Wednesday December 3rd.  Each lesson is standalone. Join us if you want to improve your bidding and play.  Please text or email me and I can give you the location details.

If you are interested in a particular lesson or series, please reach out to me at 972-814-8801 or at vjremmers@gmail.com. Most group lessons are $25 per person, or pre-pay for five lesson series for $100 (thus lessons are $20/each) and includes the book if applicable or a free play at Friendly.  The Wednesday Play and Learn sessions are $20 each.
