YOU are the CHAMPIONS, my FRIEND
The ACBL allows each club to run two Club Championship games per quarter for each game day/time. Friendly has four games per week, thus we get eight club championship games per quarter. These games award more masterpoints than regular games. When I stumbled upon some "Bridge Club Champion" trophies, I decided we could have fun making use of these trophies. Thus our Club Championship games now come complete with trophies (For the photo op that is), and the winners of the Club Championship games will be the REIGNING club champions - until the next Club Championship game on that day. (So we will have the most recent club champion for each day we hold games!)
The Friday 6/5 club champions are Brian Dalton & Mary Jane McGinnis and are the latest Club Champions
The Monday 5/25 Club champions are HP Goel & Paulette Armstrong
The Thursday 5/14 club champions are Joe Gill & Dale Remmers
The Friday 5/8 club champions are Jean Scott and Nancy Stanton - and I just got their picture - so it will stay up for the next week.
The Saturday 5/2 club champions are Scott Nason & Gary Bush
Congratulations to the above winners, and we look forward to seeing more of you compete for Friendly CLUB CHAMPIONS!!

| NAP Qualifiers throughout June, July, and August |
Throughout June, July, and August you will see NAP - North American Pairs qualifier games on our website. If you score in the top 50% of your stratification you qualify to compete at the district level. The stratification are pre-determined: >3000 Mps are A, between 3000 and 750 (NLM) is the B strat, and anyone below 750 (NLM) is C stratification, In addition, these games award 50% RED points, so even if you are not interested in competing in the North American Pairs competition, come on out for a chance to win RED points.
DISTRICT LEVEL COMPETITION
The District final for NAP Flights A, B, C and Championship will be held in San Antonio, TX on October 31 – November 1, 2026. It will be held at the Barshop Jewish Community Center, 12500 N.W. Military Highway. It will be a 4-session event, consisting of a two-session play-through qualifying event into a two-session play-through final with a carryover as per the ACBL formula (BUT see below * if attendance is low). Depending on the number of tables, 24-28 boards will be played each session. The top three pairs in the Championship Flight and Flight A and the top four pairs in each of Flights B and C will be eligible to play in the National final.
*If 16 or fewer pairs enter the District 16 NAP finals for a given flight, such flight will have a one-day, two-session play-through final to determine the national-level qualifiers for that flight.
NATIONAL LEVEL COMPETITION
The finals of the NAP will be held during the Spring NABC in Dallas in March of 2027. The Championship and Flight A event is 10-11 (W/Thur) March. Flights B and C are held on 20-21 (Sat/Sun) March.
