We are running a heat of the EBED Simultaneous Pairs on Monday 12th May at 10am. English Bridge Education and Development (EBED) is the national charity for the promotion and development of Bridge, and which produces the Bridge for All materials used in our courses for beginners.
Your results for the session will be compared with those in all the other clubs in the country that are playing the same hands ‘simultaneously’. This means that you will have two scores, your local score for the event at OBC (normal masterpoints) and a national score. As the national field is large, if you're in the top 1/3 of players you will receive a relatively large number of additional masterpoints.
This is a hybrid event, and we are playing it both online on RealBridge and face-to-face at the club.
Both sections are hosted, so that you can play even if you don't have a pre-arranged partner.

Entry fee: £8.00 per player (£4.00 for concessions).

If you are playing at the clubhouse do not book in advance. Pay by card when you arrive at the club.
Note that for security reasons we won't be able to post the results on our website or on Pianola until after 10.00 in the evening. A commentary on the hands will also be made available on our website.
