We are an active friendly bridge club serving Market Harborough and its surrounding area. We meet to play duplicate bridge in the Bowls Club on Kettering Road on Monday and Thursday evenings between 6.50 pm and 10 pm.
(This is a temporary venue as our usual location is undergoing repair/refurbishment)

Members pay a small annual subscription of £20, visitors are always welcome. 

If you play bridge and would like to have a trial game, but don't have a partner, please contact the Secretary on  secretary@mhbridge.com who will try to find you an appropriate partner.

Visiting pairs should also contact the Secretary, who will advise and if appropriate book them in. Or they can just turn up on a Thursday evening.

For those wanting a more relaxed session of duplicate bridge, we recommend the “Breakaway Bridge Club”, which now meets on a MONDAY morning at 9.45am (for a 10am start). in the Harborough Building Society  which is at the Point, just off the Corby Road, past B&M).
They typically play 18 boards (duplicate bridge), in a relaxed atmosphere. This is an independent group (non-EBU). There is no membership fee, with table money of £4 per person.  Players don't need to come with a partner, they will try to find one for you on the day.

On Monday evenings we aim to play 24 boards. We operate a booking system for members up to a week ahead via this website. A member can book for a non-member to partner them. Visitors welcome, please contact us at enquiries@mhbridge.com

On the first week of each month results count towards our handicap competition for the Jean Pringle Trophy. And on the third Monday results count towards the "scratch" club championship for the Bill Carter Trophy. All results are submitted to the EBU for the National Grading Scheme and award of Masterpoints.

Table money is £5 for members, £6 for non-members.

On Thursday evenings we have a more relaxed session, playing no more than 21 boards. No booking is required - just turn up and play. As for Mondays, all results are submitted to the EBU for the National Grading Scheme and award of Masterpoints.
