The Wilde Cup for non-expert teams of 4. You can only enter if you have an NGS rating of 9 or below.
It will be held on Tue 24th Feb at County Bridge Club, starting at 1.00 pm with an intended finish at around 4.00 pm. The closing date for entries is Sunday 22nd February.

| Nine-High Corwen Qualifier – Tuesday 21st April - BBO |
The Nine-High Corwen is a relatively new inter-county pairs competition specifically aimed at those with an NGS grade no higher than Nine on 1 January 2026. An 18-board qualifying competition (LCBA Nine-High Corwen Qualifier) will be played on BBO starting at 2pm on Tuesday 21 April. The top three placed pairs will be eligible to represent Leicestershire in the Nine-high Corwen on 30 May. Other pairs scoring over 50% in this event will rank as reserves. Pairs wishing to enter the Qualifier should complete the entry form on the LCBA web site, here. There will be no entry fee charged.
This year the Final will be played online as two 18-board sessions on 30 May 2026 on both RealBridge and BBO (qualifiers will be able to select which platform they wish to compete on). Full details of the final are on the EBU website: www.ebu.co.uk/competitions/nine-high-corwen. Pairs who are selected to represent the County will have their entry fee paid for by LCBA
