THE CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO THE 31st AUGUST.
Entries are now open for the 2026-27 Dorset Knockout. Only primary members of Dorset may enter this competition.
We would like to encourage participation in the Dorset Knockout tournament which has traditionally been our most prestigious, green pointed teams event and is used for selection of teams for the national Pachabo Cup.
The committee of the DCBA would like to encourage good participation to make it as much fun as possible.
DCBA are offering a 50% discount on the entry for teams who enter with no NGS- Ace in the team at time of entry AND a prize for the last (non-Ace NGS) team standing even if they do not win the event.

| Are you interested in playing for Dorset in the Western League 2026/27 ? |
Dorset CBA would like to encourage players to consider playing for Dorset in the South Western Counties League.
There are 3 divisions (A, B and C).
The A and B divisions are aimed at the best players in the County. Players are normally ranked as NGS A,K,Q.
The C division is specifically aimed at providing a platform for more inexperienced players to try out County teams matches and to meet other players of a similar standard from neighbouring counties. In this division no team is expected to field any player above NGS Queen level.
Matches are Head to Head played on RealBridge and consist of 2 x 12 boards against one of severn other counties on Saturday afternoons.

Winning team members win Green Masterpoints.
If you are interested in playing for any of the teams please send an email to Derek Maggs. Please provide a list of your reguar partners (if they are interested in playing), your preferred partner and your EBU number.
Derek will give priority to Dorset natives who have a public NGS or can privately advise their NGS to Derek.
