Host System

The Buckland Bridge Club operates a Host system for the Thursday events at the Reading Room. If there are an odd number of players, then a player who turns up without a partner can be paired with the designated Host for the day. If there is no unpaired single player, then the Host will not get a game. Hosts are are not charged any table money. If a Host does not play on the day, their table money is waived on the next visit.

Please volunteer to be a host on any unfilled dates by using 'Contact Us' on the home page or sign up at the club. Thursday players are requested to volunteer approx once every 6 months.
