Sheila was an absolutely delightful lady with whom I enjoyed many hands of bridge with as opponents. She was exceptionally welcoming to me when I first joined the club and was delight to interact with either at the bridge table or by email - from Stephen

Although I only started playing at Broxbourne about 18 months ago I remember playing against Sheila and Bill Blackman at Gosling on numerous occasions .She was indeed a very nice lady who will be sadly missed - from Nigel
Sheila used to play in EBU congresses with Bill Blackman. One year Sheila was playing in the north of England and ended up in hospital. We all thought that we were never going to see her again. Obviously Sheila did recover. Sheila and one of her sons had seats at Arsenal stadium. One match Sheila took me when the son was away on business - from Shirley B
