| About our club |
We regard Bradford Bridge Club as one of the country's premier regional venues. We have our own premises, a Victorian listed building on the outskirts of Bradford city centre. This gives us a capacity of up to 40 tables in two large comfortable card rooms. There is a bar and separate refreshment room. The Club has a membership of around 140.
The club has ramp entrance to our premises to facilitate access for the less able amongst our attendees. Internally, we have a chair lift on the stairs to the upstairs playing room. With the age of our premises and the limits on what we can do because of the listed status it is not easy to facilitate disabled access but we try our best and will continue to improve any aspect which we can.
The Club operates a non-smoking policy throughout all areas within the building.
We offer a varied programme of pairs and teams bridge for all standards. Pairs drives are matchpointed scoring and a proportion are handicapped to give less experienced players a chance to put one over our “experts”.
Visitors are most welcome in the club and if you are in the area and on your own we will be pleased to try to provide a partner for you if given sufficient notice.
The club currently enters five teams in the county leagues, an eleven division competition and one of the most successful county leagues in the country. These matches are played on Sundays throughout the season.
We have a magnificent catering committee for our events and tickets for our Christmas party are a much sought after item.
The club also runs classes from time to time for newcomers who would like to learn the game and also those who endeavour to improve.
We have a secure car parking area at the club, montored by CCTV.

| Event for Ukraine |
 |
On Saturday 28th May 2022 the club held a Bridge event in support of relief for Ukraine. Cakes and tea or coffee were served at the interval, and there was also a raffle!!
There were 10 tables at the event and other donations were received. Nearly £600 was raised, and will be sent to the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Relief appeal.
Many thanks to all those who made cakes and/or donated money or a prize for the raffle. A great time was had by all!
