Information about Accessibility

There is a designated parking bay at Bradford Bridge Club  for people with a blue badge .  If told in advance that more than one bay is required  we will mark and cone off the required number of other bays that can be used as well.

We have two playing rooms one of which has no steps and this is accessible by wheelchair.  If told in advance that a member or visitor with a relevant physical disability will be attending  the Club, we will take steps to ensure that the bridge drive or other event  is held in the room which is accessible to people with mobility difficulties.   Any refreshments available in the interval will be available in that room.  The bar is upstairs but drinks can be brought down on request.  There is a cloakroom a short distance from the playing room and on the same level.  This cloakroom is set up to be suitable for a disabled person.

We also have a stair lift from the ground floor to the first floor where the bar and other rooms are located.

We do not at present have a hearing loop but are prepared to write down any conversation for a person with hearing difficulties.  We will arrange for cards to be sorted for anyone with reduced manual dexterity.
