Friday ˝ hour Sessions from 28th August
These short sessions are aimed at Beginners and Improvers and will reinforce aspects of play of the hand that were covered in the lessons, but which are worth revisiting.
Sessions will start at 12 noon, finish by 12:30 in time for the afternoon duplicate session.
No need to book. Bring some light lunch so you are suitably recharged for the afternoon.
Wednesday Lessons from 23rd September
If you want to improve your bridge, you should focus on playing the hand. This set of five lessons has been devised to improve your play as both declarer and defender in No Trumps and in a suit contract and extend what you have learned in the Beginners lessons.

- Defending NT
- Declarer in a trump suit
- Defending in a trump suit
- Negative and Responsive Doubles
Lessons run at the Clubhouse from 1pm to 4pm, starting on 23rd September and will have a short lesson up front followed by a series of hands designed to practice what you have learned. No need to book. Normal table fees apply.
Thursday Intermediate Lessons from 22nd October 2026
A series of short lessons before the Thursday afternoon sessions, aimed at competitive bidding
- 22-Oct from 11:45 - Interference over 1NT
- 5-Nov from 11:45 - Michael's and Unusual NT
- 19-Nov from 10am - Competitive Bidding (pending confirmation)
Beginner Lessons 2027
The next round of beginner lessons will start in February / March 2027
We have planned a set of 8 lessons at our clubhouse in Wentworth Falls which will run from 1pm to 4pm.
All lessons are designed to teach you with a mix of theory and hands-on card play. They are interactive and fun, and we always break for afternoon tea and cake. Don't worry if you can't make it every week - we can make sure that you don't miss out.
And if you are interested in learning, but this time doesn't suit you, contact us anyway because we will be running more lessons later.
