Wimborne Online, as the name suggests, is an online club so has no location restrictions for members providing access to the internet is available. We welcome new members wherever they live.

As we are UK based the majority of our members use ACOL conventions and have skill levels from new players to duplicate bridge to more seasoned players.

We use the excellent Bridge Base Online (BBO) software to play Duplicate Pairs tournaments.

Club membership and tournaments are currently free and we presently run 4 tournaments each week:

• Monday 7.30pm (14-16 boards)
• Tuesday 7pm
• Wednesday 7pm
• Friday 2.15pm

Members play as many, or as few, tournaments as they wish.

Before being able to join a tournament club membership has to be arranged as it places you on the permitted players list which is used by the BBO software.

For a tournament you need to register with your partner at least 15 minutes before the tournament starts. Under the "Guidelines & Help" menu button on the left of the screen there are a number of helpful guides, including one on tournament registration.

As a member, to help with finding a partner for a tournament we have a WhatsApp group and if you are interested in joining this group let us know.
