VAIL VALLEY BRIDGE CLUB
PO Box 29, Wolcott, CO 81655
Our biggest challenge for management of the club is finding a location that can host card tables and a bridge game! The heartwarming news is that our bridge club has been hosted in the Commons cafeteria at the Vail Christian High School (VCHS) for 10 years.
We thank VCHS and the Head of School – Steve O’Neil – for making us welcome!
During this period we have established the Bridge Club Scholarship Fund and YOU, our players, have generously given more than $37,000 to help students who need scholarship support.
This scholarship support has allowed needy students from a variety of backgrounds to attend VCHS and then graduate to many notable colleges across the country.
Two such students recently graduated from VCHS.
Through your generous support, a girl has achieved her dream to attend Boston College on a full scholarship, and a boy will attend Colorado School of Mines where he will continue to pursue his passion for Engineering as he prepares for a career.
In this our 10th year of VCHS residency we ask that you join us with renewed support for more students like these. You might do so using a VCHS donor return envelope or by logging directly to the VCHS scholarship donor web site (https://www.vchs.org/giving)! If you choose to give online,
- Click on the ‘My Gift Supports’ drop down box and,
- Select Vail Valley Bridge Club.
Your bridge club will be making such contributions and we hope that our 10th residency can generate $10,000 in scholarship donations.
The school is very supportive of our activities and have designated a source of funding that will be used to match dollar for dollar each donation from bridge players.
Thank you for all your help and support to develop the Vail Valley Bridge Club!
