Eagle County health restrictions will not permit physical bridge games for the forseeable future. We will be focused on online games at BBO - Watch this space for future announcements about Fall games.

No games at the Vail Christian High School this summer - Your bridge club has still given a donation to the VCHS scholarship fund and applied for IBM matching funds. Please read the letter from the head of the school (at left) and consider making a personal gift to help students attend this great school.
We have scheduled Vail Club games at

The Vail Valley Bridge Club has established a "pool" arrangement where players  - in addition to playing in Vail Valley Virtual games on Bridge Base Online (BBO) - can play in Virtual BBO Games with
Maggie's Club in Summit county and the Steamboat Bridge Club.  If you have played in the Vail Valley club in the past year, you can also play in Virtual BBO games in their clubs.

Each club establishes its own schedule. For the rest of the summer (and maybe beyond) you can play in the following games:
Vail Valley games:--- Games through the summer, Mondays 12.30PM; Thursday 3PM and Sunday 3PM
Maggie's games in Frisco:Tuesdays and Fridays at 1 pm
Steamboat games: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 3pm
InterMountain Challenge Games: A joint venture for Vail, Steamboat and Frisco clubs: Hosted in sequence each Saturday at 3pm
BBO will list every game that you are eligible to play. So, check-in to BBO and select Virtual Clubs and then ACBL North America. All games that you can participate in will be displayed. This list will be updated 2 hours prior to the game start time. Registration opens 2 hours prior to the start of the game.  Your partner must be online at the same time for you to select a game. Please be fully registered at least 15 minutes before the game starts.    Call me at 970-471-3076 if you need help.  I will be online monitoring registration. Depending on the size of the game we will try to play 18 boards allowing 7 minutes per board.  The games will last just a little over 2 hours.   If we find we have ample time, this will change to 21 boards at 6 minutes per board.   (21 x 6 is the same as 18 x 7!)
There are 2 ways to register.  Make sure your partner is also online when registering.
  1. The easiest was, beginning 2 hours before the start time, is to select Virtual ACBL Clubs under FEATURED AREAS.  (The contents of this window have changed.)  The select ACBL - North America.   Enter Vail in the Search box in the top right of this window to find our game.
  2. The second way is to Select Competitive.  What previously said "ACBL Virtual Clubs" has been changed to "ACBL North America".  Select that.  The title of the next window is "ACBL Virtual Clubs."  Enter Vail in the Search box in the top right of this window to find our game.

Vail Valley Bridge Club, operated by Marcia and Tom McCalden, is dedicated to providing high quality friendly ACBL sanctioned games.

If you need a partner, send us your name, dates you want to play, your bridge level and contact information.
