2025 saw Unit 188 clubs participating in NYC-area STaCs every month in the last half of the year.

Westchester Players dominated the November NY Metro STaC: On Monday, Christina Powers and Kay Schulle, playing at The Hartes' Club, topped 47 tables, over at Heritage Hills B-stratification winners were Janet and Richard Stroh while Elyse and Jack Stein finished first in C-strat. Tuesday saw Robin Brown and Marjorie Murstein at The Bridge Deck taking the honors with 29 tables playing, while top C-strat finishers were Susan Smithline and Phil Supcoff at the Hartes' Club. On Wednesday Jody Brody and Eileen Meyers at the Hartes' Club were the best C-stratification performers among 22 tables. Thursday Hartes' players swept the board, with Christina Powers and Gregory Woods grabbing first place overall with 35 tables playing, while Bill Hessberg and Ejaz Qureshi topped B-stratification and Benjamin Lentz and William Rogers finished best in C-strat. On Friday afternoon Richard Oshlag and Richard Zucker topped 22 tables from The Bridge Deck, while B- and C- strat winners were at Hartes': Eileen Budnovitch and Sybil Nessim, and Stephen Bear and Leon Feigenbaum. Kudos to everyone! 188ers did well in the October Metro STaC. At the Hartes' Club, Henry Deutsch and Eileen O'Neill finished on top among 24 tables playing Tuesday afternoon. Hartes' players also featured on the 22-table leaderboard Wednesday afternoon, with Stephen Bear and Philip Farin coming first and Leon Fagenbaum and Bonnie LeVar doing best in C-stratification. On Thursday afternoon winners among 40 tables were Pam Furtsch and Cliff Nebel, who scored a resounding 70 percent game at Heritage Hills. Click here for the full results from the week's competition.

A Unit 188 Pair Grabbed Glory in the Royal STaC in October! Lester Gottlieb and Eric Lazere, playing at The Hartes' Club, were the first place finishers among 39 tables Tuesday afternoon. Jody Leavitt and Wendy Sklar topped B-strat players in the same game. Click here for full results from the week-long competition.

Westchester clubs shone in the NY Metro STaC in September! Paul Lewis and Faye Marino came first in a 60-table field playing Monday afternoon at The Bridge Deck. On Tuesday afternoon it was Halina Jamner and Kaye Schulle topping 43 tables from the Hartes' Club. On Wednesday the winners were back at The Bridge Deck, as Hope Furth and Nancy Molesworth did best of 31 tables.  On Thursday John and Marcy Fabiani at The Bridge Deck tied with Richard Bower and Benjamin Lentz at Hartes' for first place in C-stratification out of 42 tables. Click here for full results from the week-long competition.

In the August tournament, playing Monday afternoon at the Hartes' Club, Bunny Lukas and Yefim Shoykhet topped a 77-table field, while Leon Feigenbaum and Sybil Nessim finished first in C-stratification. In the NY Metro STaC running July 7-11, Cristina Powers and Gregory Woods topped a 71-table field from The Hartes' Club on Monday afternoon, while at Heritage Hills, Cliff and Sandy Wohlberg finished first in C-stratification. On Thursday afternoon at The Hartes' Club, Eileen Budnovic and Irma Trupp were the best B-strat players out of 81 tables, while C-strat honors went to Joanne Jantos and Diana Kent in Heritage Hills. Click here for full results from the week-long competition.

Unit 188 made a strong showing in the larger STaC in D3 and D24 taking place June 16-22. Playing Monday afternoon at Heritage Hills, Cliff and Sandy Wohlberg finished first in B and C-strats in a 134-table field. On Wednesday at The Hartes' Club, Halina Jamner and Kay Schulle led 107 tables. Another Heritage Hills pair -- Peter MacCuaig and Heidi Winslow -- were winners in a 134-table contest on Thursday afternoon. The year had started out with a bang for those playing well in January's Royal STaC. Ruth Chizzini and Bonnie Levar finished first in C-Stratification Monday afternoon at the Hartes Club, with 118 tables playing. On Tuesday afternoon at The Bridge Deck Susan Duval and Faye Marino took the points for first place overall in a 70-table contest. And on Thursday afternoon at Heritage Hills top C-strat points from 89 tables went to Fran Aufiero and Pat Held and Glafkos Keramidas and Lisette Voorhees. Click here to see the week's full results.

2024: Shout outs to those who did well in the Royal STaC in September! Colin Baigel and Jill Marshall topped a 158-table field on Monday afternoon across the NYC region, playing at the Hartes' Club. At Heritage Hills, Glafkos Keramidas and Lisette Voorhees came first in the C Stratification across a 132-table field on Thursday afternoon. Click here for details on the full week of play.

Back in June in the STaC Jan Carnow and Subash Sindhwani at Heritage Hills finished first in the region in C-Strat Thursday afternoon, with more than 130 tables playing. See the week's full results here.

In the STaC in April, Martin Barschi and Dennis Newman topped a 130-table field from the Bridge Deck on Monday afternoon, Christopher Jobin and David Lewis, also playing at the Deck, came first in C-Strat among 77 tables Tuesday afternoon, and Joanne Jantos and Diana Kent from Heritage Hills led C-Strat with 80 tables playing on Thursday afternoon.
