The enjoyable and competitive 2022-23 WBL Knockout (KO) is starting soon!

There is an Open Fight and a 0-2500 Flight. Entries are due by December 31, 2022.

Seeding is by random draw. Matches consist of 24 boards played in 12-board halves.

Teams can be made up of four, five or six players. The players do not have to be members of District 6.  Each player must play at least 50% of the total hands played by the team. Each player on the teams that make the finals must play half of that match.

Matches will be played at the rate of one every 3 weeks. For teams unable to meet the three-week guideline due to the seasonal holidays, adjustments will be allowed. The deadline for each match will be sent to the team Captains by the Coordinator.  Matches can be played either online or, if the teams agree, in person. 

The Conditions of Contest will be posted on the Washington Bridge League website, www.washingtonbridgeleague.org. Team Captains are responsible for knowing the Conditions of Contest.

Open+ conventions are allowed in this event. Defenses must be provided as required by the ACBL.

The entry fee is $30.00 per team. An email identifying the team Captain (with his phone number and email address) and the names of all team members must be sent to the Coordinator in order to enter the event. There are prizes! Open: $30.00 for first, $15.00 for second. 0-2500: $30.00 for first.
