Note: This will search the entire SCBA site & could therefore include out-of-date information
To do a Search for content on the Surrey website replace the placeholder text "Search ..." with Keywords for what you are looking for and then click GO!
This initiates a Google Search engine Query which will return a list of all of our Pages that contain those Keywords and show it in a New Window / TAB
If the word entered sounds like the correct word then the search engine will find that as well as the word spelt correctly
Hence it finds “Tollemach”, “Tollemarche and “Tollemarch” as well as the correct “Tollemache” but any partial of the word less ‘close’ won’t get found
You can use * to mean ‘any words’, so entering “Lady * Plate” finds all phrases beginning with “Lady” and ending in “Plate”.
It will find "Lady Rose Plate" and "Lady Rose Cup and Plate" etc., but it only works for full words – a search for “Tollem*” doesn’t find anything.
The * only works for full words
If you search for “Ludorum” and then repeat using “Ludoram”, “Ludorem”, “Ludorim”, or “Ludorom” you’ll get the same result
