Congratulations to: 2018
Summertown's NICKO team

Summertown’s team for the National Inter Club Knockout (NICKO) this year is James Bentley, Valerie Goodchild, Cliff and Moira Pavelin.

James reports on their first match: “Our opposition from Cheltenham were a strong team (Alan Wearmouth, Joe Angseeing, Tony Hill and Roger Jackson).  We held them to -9 at half time, but then right after dinner 4S three down doubled and vulnerable followed by letting a tight slam through has to be blamed on the excellent claret.  The Pavelins were in the other room at the time, but clearly share team responsibility!

The NICKO Plate beckons…”

We wish them every good luck and look forward to hearing how they fare in the NICKO plate matches.
