Just a heads-up on the Staffordshire and Shropshire bridge front for the early part of the year.
The Wednesday online pairs game (7pm on BBO), table money BBO$3 per player, starts for the New Year., on the 7th January Entrants must have their, BBO name registered with John Withers.
This online club as well as (so far); Newcastle and Wrekin will be hosting heats of the county Simultaneous pairs on Wednesday 28th January. The face-to-face clubs will welcome others from the county who would wish to participate in this.
Clubs are reminded that anyone scoring over 55%, on their regular nights, between 2nd and 15th February will automatically qualify for the next round of the National Pairs.
Now that you are all in receipt of your nice new 2026 diaries, please ensure you have booked out the following dates'
29th March County Championship Pairs
26th April County Championship Teams
10th May County Mixed Pairs Championship
These are all scheduled to be played at Newcastle (under Lyme of course), and further details will be sent closer to the time, but please plan to support these eventsÂ…. Your county needs You!
I am sure that Paul would be grateful for hearing from anyone who would like to represent the county. The next match is against Leicestershire, and I've a personal objective not to screw up the RealBridge settings, this time. It'd be a first!
