Data Privacy Policy - General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The General Data Protection Regulation becomes law on May 25th2018.
Under the law Peebles Bridge Club needs to inform all members of the data we hold and what we do with it. We also need to let you know how long we will hold it for.
For the legitimate interests of running the Club we hold the following information on all Club members:
- Name, address, email, phone number(s), SBU number and club ID
- We share your name, address, email, phone number(s) with the SBU.
- We may share your email and phone numbers within the Club membership for the purpose of finding a partner and other Club matters.
- We may use your email to inform you of Bridge related matters which may be of interest, such as Congresses and team matches.
- Your name will appear on the Club website results and in the Peeblesshire News.
- We do not share any information outside the Club, other than specified above.
- The information is held by the Club Secretary on a password protected spreadsheet.
This information will continue to be held as long as you are a member of the Club and will be deleted once you are no longer a member of the Club.
