System for Other is probably below but could be as per Fairlie - main difference is Lebensohl - slight put off but you can put out message to partner at start of round saying No Lebensohl.

We have received an invitation from Tyler Hill Bridge Club in Kent to take part in a friendly and informal teams match on BBO against their club on Wednesday 1st April starting at 7pm. Tyler Hill is a small club with 69 members, they started these friendly matches during lockdown playing against clubs in England and have now spread their net to include clubs across the UK and other parts of the world including the USA and Canada.

The organisers rank their teams of four to ensure no team gets marmelised, 16 boards are played with a switch half way so both pairs play both pairs in the opposition's team,.

We'd need a minimium of 20 people to take part but it could be many more than that. The matches are free. 

If you'd like to take part please let Katherine know (peeblesbridgeclub@gmail.com), and also let her know the name of your partner and both your BBO names.  If you'd like to take part but don't have a partner Katherine will try to match up pairs.

The club will be running lessons for Beginners starting Thursday 12th March.

Lessons will run for 6 weeks.  Cost £24 for the six weeks (includes tea/coffee and biscuits).

Held at Community Centre Walkershaugh (Drill Hall) EH45 8AU 18:50 Thursday evenings.

The main aim of the website is to keep members up-to-date with club activities. We hope that newcomers to Peebles and its surroundings will discover the site and will be tempted to join the bridge club.

We play duplicate bridge Face to Face every Thursday 6.50pm and online Mondays (BBO) 6.50pm. The club is a very friendly one, but the bridge is taken reasonably seriously.

Visitors are very welcome but must contact the Secretary in advance.

Visitors, are not allowed to play on Trophy nights.  Visitors should be introduced by a member and their admission is subject to the prior consent of the Secretary.

Results from Traquair are shown on this web site however Traquair is a separate club from Peebles and this is simply a cooperative arrangement.

When you have accessed the members area you will see a list of future events. Ticking the 'PR' box against an event will let other users of the website know that you are looking for a partner for that event. Depending upon your personal account settings they will  be able to contact you via email or telephone.  

The list of future events is shown under the 'Calendar' to the right.  If anyone is looking for a partner then the event will show "Partner?" and you can click on that to show details.

Once you have found a partner, remember to log in and untick on calendar, otherwise others may continue to contact you.
