| Pairs Competition for the Beck Salver 2026 |
The club's Pairs Championship Competition for the Beck Salver will take place on Sunday 25 January, starting at 1pm at the clubhouse.
This is one of the club premier events, attracting Blue Masterpoints. The winning pair win the Beck Salver, and there is also a trophy for the "Rising Stars" (the highest placed pair with an average NGS of under 10).
Members of all abilities are very welcome to take part.
We will play 36-42 boards with a break at half time for tea/coffee and light refreshments. Play is expected to finish by 6.00-6.30pm.
This event isn't hosted, but if you'd like to play and don't have a partner, please email Liza who will try to find you one.
Entry fee: £10.00 per player, to include refreshments.
The closing date for entries is 10am on Saturday 24 January. This event will only run if we have at least 3 full tables .
