2026 Maine Macedon Cup - Team Maine Wins Again!
Saturday 24th October. Another emphatic win, with Maine teams once again scooping the top 4 places to retain the Cup.

Best performed Ranges team were Crosling / Mactier / Wilson / Scrivener, with +9 IMPs.

Many thanks are owed to our hosts and opponents, Macedon Ranges, for organising and running this year's event, with catering. It was a friendly and fun day. Thanks also to: our Director, Kerrie, from Bendigo BC, for managing the play with her usual aplomb; Guy, from Ranges, who managed the technical side of things; and, surely, many other helpers.
Last, but not least, thanks to the two team managers: Louise (Maine) and Cate (Ranges) for their behind the scenes co-operation and organisation dedicated to ensuring that the event ran smoothly. Particularly effective was their decision to move the event from August to October, which resulted in much more comfortable playing conditions in Taradale Hall.

Our 2026 GNOT Club Selection Event was held over three Tuesdays in August (4th, 11th and 18th). This was a Gold masterpoint event, with masterpoints being awarded on a matchpoint basis. Click on the link below to see how your partnership fared in the masterpoint stakes.

2026 MBC Online Championship Pairs
Our 2026 Online Championship Pairs sessions will be run on (Wednesdays) 1st & 8th July. The competition's Conditions of Play can be viewed here - 2026 MBC Online Pairs Championship CoP - and in the Calendar.
The Club Autumn Pairs sessions were well attended, with 10 or 11 tables per session.. The Overall results are now available - see Results for details.
Congratulations to our Overall winners, Peter & Jennifer; Runners-up, Charles & Aidan; and 3rd place getters, Chris & Merlyn.
Results for Ron Wescott Memorial Pairs - Sunday, March 29th
Maine-based players did particularly well. Congratulations to NS winners Jenni & Henry, runners-up Louise & Jo, and 3rd place getters Charles & Jan. Also to EW winners Sandy and Graham, and to equal 3rd place getters Chris & Annie. (The other equal 3rd-placed pair was Merlyn & Kevin.)
