| AUSTRALIA WIDE RESTRICTED PAIRS EVENT |
On Wednesday October 30 we will hold the Australia Wide Restricted Pairs event for members with less than 300 masterpoints.
This will be a FACE-to-FACE session at Church of Christ. Click on the text for further details. Normal table fees ($5) apply. Note that the usual online session will not be held that day.

| CHRISTMAS LUNCH AND BRIDGE TUESDAY DECEMBER 17 2024 |
All members and Partners welcome. This year's function will be at the Mount Alexander Golf Club, top of Wimble St Castlemaine.
As usual we will be dining first and playing bridge after lunch. Lunch will be a two course smorgasboard and dessert.....those who are gluten free and vegetarian/vegan will be catered for.
Lunch for members is being subsidized by the club this year and will cost $10...partners welcome at a cost of $35. Drinks available at bar prices.

| MAINE BRIDGE CLUB CODE OF GOOD CONDUCT |
The committee of the MBC, at our last committee meeting, moved to adopt a Code of Good Conduct.
The code outlines the clubs general expectations on players behaviour and the handling of any grievances and disputes.

After our AGM on Tuesday August 27 2024 we have two new members on the committee for our bridge club.
After deciding not to stand this year we thank Graham Forbes and Trisha McGregor for their previous contributions to the committee.
We welcome Merlyn Pritchard as our new Secretary, Jan Williams as Vice President and Tracey Madden as a new committee member.
Ron Wescott remains as Treasurer and Louise Griffin as President. For contacts for the committee please refer to the Members Area of the website as some of our email addresses for MBC correspondence have changed.

This bridge club is centered in Castlemaine, Victoria, Australia
Each week we run two/three bridge events
A 'face-to-face" Duplicate competition "U3AMBC" is run weekly at 1:30pm Tuesdays throughout the year - in conjunction with U3A Castlemaine
On the second and fourth Thursday of the month Maine BC runs a competition at the same time and place as our Tuesday bridge
Players are either Maine BC members or U3A Members - visitors are welcome
U3AMBC events are usually held at :

An "on-line" competition is run 1:30pm Wednesdays throughout the year
This is for Maine BC members and visitors located locally in the Castlemaine / Bendigo / Maldon area
