A varied programme of organised social events are a popular feature of all good bridge clubs. They not only encourage non bridge playing partners to get involved in the club and make new friends, but also provide the opportunity for people living alone to enjoy hassle free outings in the company of friends.
A day out to la Gomera, a visit to a local vineyard with a wine tasting, and a trip to one of the local Tenerife national parks plus monthly Sunday games afternoon featuring chess, cribbage, rummikub and backgammon are just some of the treats on offer.
Needless to say that dinner dances will appear on the social agenda and, looking ahead, I am sure there will be enough of you wanting something special to be organised over the festive period in addition to the Christmas party scheduled for 11th December 2026 at the excellent H10 Hotel on the Paseo Maritimo in Cristianos
