Montana bridge clubs are a part of District 18. District 18 is composed of Units of clubs in the states of Wyoming, Utah, Montana and Idaho and Canadian provinces Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Units are umbrella organization for ACBL clubs.  Unit 417 is in Missoula, Montana. Its functions are running sectional and regional tournaments for Missoula clubs and to initiate and maintain bridge education programs.  All Garden City DBC members are members of the Unit.
