Play Bridge in Norfolk - or PBIN for short

There's now one website where you can find all you need to know about playing bridge in Norfolk.

It's got info on everything from teaching in schools, U3A, fast track learning, individual tuition and clubs from easy starters to county level.

Plus links to the EBU, NCBA and EBED and the low-down on the county's affiliated and non-affiliated clubs.

PBIN's primary aim is to get more people playing in clubs - but their secondary objective is just encouraging more people to learn and play wherever!

BRIDGE BRAIN TEASERS

With the continuing lockdown we know that many of you are feeling the loss of our weekly games. We therefore thought you may wish to keep the grey cells ticking over. Fakenham Bridge Club are proposing the following idea:  Each week they will send out a number of Bridge problems relating to bidding or play and the solutions will be sent the following week. A fund at the QEH for the virus fight has been set up. So if you would like to take part in the exercise you make a donation to  www.justgiving.com/QEHCovid19Support  and then send an email to  r.harvest41@gmail.com to say so and he will then send you the first set of problems ( Some easy, some not so easy ).

New Start Time with effect from 26 Feb 2020 - 6.30 pm (Seated by 6.20 latest)

At the AGM on the 19th February it was agreed that for a trial period with  immediate effect, bridge would START at the earlier time of 6.30 pm . Please therefore arrive and be seated by 6.20 pm
