Wednesday Evening Seminars |
We are delighted to announce that, starting on the 4th October, Gwynn Davis has agreed to give a short seminar before the start of each Face to Face bridge session on Wednesday evenings.
These will be 15 minute seminars starting at 6.45pm, with bridge to commence no later than 7.05pm. There will be no charge other than the usual table money for the bridge session and it is perfectly OK for anyone who, for whatever reason, does not attend the seminar to arrive to play when it is finished.
The seminars are aimed at anyone seeking to improve their game and will focus on bidding judgement and card play (whether as declarer or in defence). Gwynn will use one hand to explore key principles in these two areas. It might be a hand that has been played at the club, or it could be from elsewhere. There won't be much on bidding 'conventions' or artificial methods generally, although he will be happy to talk about these if asked.
We are sure that these seminars will be entertaining and most informative and we are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible on Wednesday evenings and at the Seminars.
