 Another excellent day with a roomful of lovely people comprised of contingents from Swansea Llanelli Carmarthen Tenby Merlin and Haverfordwest! Julie and Ian won but the stars of the show were of course Lee and Rachel again.

Congratulations to Mark Roderick and Paddy Murphy, winners of the 2026 John Isaac Pairs, which this year was played on RealBridge for the first time,

| Perry Shield and Presidents Cup, Newtown 16th and 17th May |
West Wales had an excellent weekend of Bridge at Newtown, playing teams from the other 3 areas. In the Perry shield a strong East Wales team were victorious, winning 7of their 9 matches, but the West Team of Kevin Madox, Simon Richards, Nick Forrest and Steve Jarvis won 6 matches and finished in second place.
The East also seemed to be heading for victory in the Presidents Cup but, with excellent results on the second day, the West team (pictured above) of Howard Goss, Rosie Preece , Nigel Astley and Matt Greener were victorious!
