 Bridge holidays at Llandudno. 43 people attended 40 bridge players and 3 non bridge players. Thank you Elaine for organising. Everyone enjoyed the holidays.

| 35th Anniversary Celebrations |
♠♥♦♣ Great evening yesterday 20th Sept, celebrating 35th Anniversary of Allestree Bridge Club. As many of you said it was a most enjoyable celebration. Everything went very well, very nice food and entertainment by Elvis, making the event so memorable. People danced all the way until after 11,30pm.Thank you for attending.

45 bridge players attended the Allestree bridge club holidays at Arnside. Thank you to Elaine for organising very enjoyable holidays.

| Blue Book & White Book 2022 Changes |

| OPEN DAY 4th April 2022 |
Very successful open day on 4th April. Ten young children and three adult attended and shown great interest to come again to learn bridge. Also attended by 12 Allestree bridge club members total 25 Thank you to Club members for their support by bringing children, grandchildren and making this event successful.

| DEREK POVAH |
 
Sadly Derek passed away on 26th July 2021.
He was awarded the Dimmie Fleming Award for 2011 and was presented with his certificate on 6th September 2011 at Spondon.These awards are made annually by the EBU for services to Bridge, and this award to Derek was as a result of Derek's activity in the field of Bridge over many years without thought of personal reward and in particular establishing our Allestree Bridge Club in 1990.
