It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Andrew Billson our long time member today Wed  6th of May.He will be greatly missed for his work including introducing Blue points Swiss pairs. Our Heartfelt condolences to all the family and friends.

Thank you everyone for taking part on Thursday and Friday to raise the money for Children In Need. Total donation was £285, which is sent to CIN Charity. 

Money donated for charity in the collection tin and during the session, total  of £358.05 to give to the ''DOORWAYS Derby Charity''. Thank you every one for their donations.

Sadly Derek passed away on 26th July 2021. 

He was awarded the Dimmie Fleming Award for 2011 and was presented with his certificate on 6th September 2011 at Spondon.These awards are made annually by the EBU for services to Bridge, and this award to Derek was as a result of Derek's activity in the field of Bridge over many years without thought of personal reward and in particular establishing our Allestree Bridge Club in 1990.
