Unit 225 Celebrates the Season with Catered Christmas Luncheon

This past Saturday, Unit 225 kicked off the holiday season with a Mark Leighton catered Christmas luncheon before our Unit Championship game.   Members gathered to enjoy good food by Mark, great company, and the opportunity to recognize the many individuals who make our Unit so special.

A highlight of the luncheon was the recognition of our Emeritus MembersMary Bartley, Linda Harrison, Gay Roach, and Mike Graham—who were honored for their distinguished service and lasting contributions to Unit 225. Their dedication has helped shape our Unit, and it was a pleasure to celebrate them.

We also took time to recognize the Unit 225 Board, with special appreciation expressed by the president for the countless hours and hard work the board has devoted to developing processes for the smooth operation of the Unit, supporting the directors of our six (6) clubs, and working on plans to add members. Board members were introduced individually, giving everyone a chance to put faces with names and better understand the leadership behind the scenes.

In addition, we proudly honored our members’ achievements by recognizing most of 2025 Life Masters, Bronze Masters, Silver Masters, Ruby Masters, and Sapphire Master. These accomplishments reflect not only skill and commitment, but also the enthusiasm that makes our Unit thrive. The luncheon was a wonderful blend of celebration, gratitude, and holiday cheer—and a perfect way to close out the year together. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success, and congratulations to all those recognized!
