New Website Features!
It is now easier than ever to share info to others in Unit 225.
Check out the new menu item named "Submit Info for the Site!" There you will find two new pages with forms in them:
- Submit a News Article - Here you can submit articles about events that occurred, new levels achieved, awards given, Memorials for members who have passed and more. If you have accompanying photos, you will find a link there to submit them directly to to the webmaster.
- Submit your 70% Game - if you have had a 70% game, submit it here! Or submit it on behalf of the people who played at your club.
The submitted information will go directly to the site webmaster, who will create the articles or update pages, as applicable.
Life Master Celebration - Rose City
R ose City DBC celebrated two milestones this week.
- Mary Bartley achieved the rank of Diamond Life Master.
- Nancy Green achieved the rank of Gold Life Master.
Sandy O’Bannon organized the event with a fajita bar and two awesome cakes. Seven tables helped celebrate as well as a few others that joined in.
Thanks to all that participated. It was very special.
Discover Useful Links
Our old site had a great list of Useful Links - they were not lost - they moved!
If you haven't already done it, check out the Useful Links Tab, where you will find links to helpful ACBL pages including "Find a Tournament", District 16 pages, sites to help you learn the game, and sites that sell Bridge supplies.
Just Added! Rank Requirements Before and After January 1, 2010 - Look for it on the Member Accomplishments page and in the Useful Links sub-menu.

Regional – Comments from the President of Unit 225
The Regional at Longview was well attended and went smoothly and despite the holiday week and inclement weather.
The planning and execution was excellent thanks to all the effort expended by Shirley and Mike. Thank you Scott for managing the different games with your team and ensuring things went smoothly and efficiently.
The table count exceeded expectations and people from all our clubs and neighboring states made the groups diverse and well attended.
The refreshments provided by the various clubs was well received and enjoyed by all. The caddies did a great job and made themselves transparent to make things go well.
In summary the whole event off very well and again I want to thank the members of the board who were present, the club directors for their encouragement and participation and especially to Mike, Shirley and Scott to make it a grand success.
Hopefully we will repeat this again in late July for the sectional tournament in Tyler.
Thanks again,
Rathnam
