I obtained the last increment of Life Master points playing in a Swiss Teams event at a sectional in Montgomery, AL, partnered with my husband, Stuart Rachels, and teamed with our good friends Emily Harrell and Kevin Dybvig from Birmingham. Because I still have a very busy career, I don't get to play as much as I would like, so I was very happy we could manage the event in Montgomery - and our team won! (I should add that no one ever believes that Stu and I are married bridge partners because we are so nice to each other!)

I have been as persistent as I can in my pursuit of the game. We also love to travel and have been to as many
tournaments as possible over the past three years. I achieved life master rank at the NABC's this March in NOLA. We went to Chicago in July and had a blast as well. After doing well in silver linings week online recently , I was able to bump up to Bronze life master rank, I attribute my success to my tenacity and my partners. I love the challenges this game avails.
