Fall Regional - September 22-28

Join us for the Grand Ole Regional

Face-to-face regional plus Wednesday on-line!!

Nashville's Grand Ole Regional is September 23-29! We would love to host you for a great bridge tournament in a city that is always a great place to visit.

The tournament is a full seven days and starts on Monday, September 23.  The major events take place in daylight sessions starting at 10 and 2 with one exception.  On Monday, the tournament kicks off with a two-session strati-flighted Swiss at 10.  If you are driving in that day or just prefer pairs, a two-session pair event starts at 2, finishing with the night session at 6:30.

During the week, there are two more team events (Wednesday and Sunday). There are also pair events every day as well.

  • Four Gold Rush pairs and three Gold Rush teams (capped at 750)
  • Four Mid-Flight pairs and three MId-Flight teams (capped at 3500)
  • Four A/X Pairs and three A/X teams (X < 7000)
  • Side Pair Series are available most sessions.  Play in at least two sessions of the same series to be eligible for overall gold.
  • Evening cocktail hour following the afternoon session Tuesday thru Friday

NEWCOMER PAIRS  (<100) We are excited to offer special games just for the newest of players. There are five newcomer pair games scattered throughout the tournament. And as a special treat, if you have fewer than 100 masterpoints, you get to play in any event for FREE.

We are also pleased to offer a limited program of Night Pair Series on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Game times are 10 AM, 2 PM, and 6:30 PM daily.

ACBL allows one two-session ON-LINE REGIONAL PAIRS event during each face-to-face open regional. Our event is on Wednesday, September 25. This year, there are three separate events: Gold Rush (<750), Mid-Flight (<3000), and Open A/X (5000). There are two sessions at 11:30 and 3:30 (about a 1 hour 12 minute break between sessions). The cost of these is $16 per session, or a total of $32. These pair events are available only to members of District 10. Yes, both members of each pair must be members of District 10.

LODGING OPTIONS We do not have special rates with any hotels, but the closest ones are listed on the flyer.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT FOOD OPTIONS Box lunches will be available for pre-order ahead of the tournament.  The details/link will be posted here no later than September 1.  We have been using a local caterer to provide a variety of very yummy and filling (i.e,. large) sandwiches for $6 each. Pre-orders will have a cut-off date a few days before the tournament.  You can fill out your lunch with snacking sides available as part of the hospitality. We will also have hot dogs as part of the daily hospitality. Additionally, there are a few restaurants within walking distance. Because our parking situation is very tight, planning to leave in your car for lunch is not particularly recommended.

PARKING This tournament is being held at the Vanderbilt Bridge Center. Our parking situation is VERY tight, but we will manage. Everyone, whether local or someone visiting from out of town, can help the situation by planning to carpool. Before coming to the tournament, please check here parking alerts.
