If there are any cancellations due to bad weather during the winter months then there will be a notice on the website, please check just in case! Decisions for the club will be made by 5pm unless weather suddenly deteriorates after that.

TEAMS in the NICKO

The club is getting braver smiley

This year the Abbey Smith Bridge Club has entered two teams in the NICKO (National Inter-club Knock-Out)

Abbey Smith  A - Dave Basham, Sarah Gregory, Walter Huda and Peter Kiff . Their first match will be played against Rugby Village A on 26th November 2019 - Good Luck !

Unfortunately this team lost their first match to Rugby Village A. They then had the opportunity of playing in the NICKO Plate. They lost their plate match to Leighton Buzzard A, a good team. A great experience for all the team. 

Abbey Smith B - Lynda Riecken, David Riecken, Gina Crouch and Myra Tipping. Their first match was against Berkhamsted A. They won 96imps to 76imps and a great come back in the second half.....a very proud teacher!! Their second match is against Wallingford A on Saturday 1st February, Good Luck !
