| Supervised Play Sessions |
 These sessions are for those who wish to come along and play in a non competitive environment, where you can ask questions and go through the hands. These sessions will cost £4.50 per person for club members.
It will be most beneficial if you have a group of 4 all at a similar level. Any level of player is welcome and can be accommodated. It would be useful to know if you are coming along as then hands can be prepared accordingly.
Supervised play will restart on Thursday 18th April.
Thursday evening duplicate at 7pm and the Friday afternoon duplicate at 2pm will run as normal.

| Club Membership |
 The bridge club membership is due at the beginning of September. Current members should receive an email - if not please email abbeybridgelessons@hotmail.co.uk. You will also find the membership form on the website on the menu. Membership is £25 and table money remains at £4.50 for all sessions.

| Abbey Smith! |
 I was taught Bridge by my Dad when I was 12 years old and have been playing ever since. I was fortunate to get the opportunity to enter junior trials when I was 16 and managed to be selected for the British Junior Squad and the English Under 20s team. In 1995 it was a privilege to be asked to partner Sandra Landy in the Beijing World Championships. At the time I was the youngest player to represent their country at non-junior level for any Nation. The highlight of my international experience was being a member of the British Ladies Team which won the European Championships in Malta in 1999.
More recently my priorities have changed as I am married with 3 young daughters. However, I have started teaching bridge and love it!
