All bridge lessons are held by Abbey Smith. There's a wide variety of lessons that you can attend, and if you are interested in any of the these opportunities for yourself or your bridge club, then please email Abbeybridgelessons@hotmail.co.uk (please put the type of lesson that you are interested in, in the subject line of your email)  or call Abbey on 07891 586 410 to discuss your requirements. 

♠ Beginner lessons - these are usually run as a 15 week course in a group. (However, you can have individual lessons if you prefer). These are great fun and start at the very beginning of card play, so you need never have seen a pack of cards before.  You can come as an individual on a set course, new courses usually start in September and in January. Beginner courses are run with a very maximum of 16 students. This course costs £12.50 per lesson and the first 5 weeks are payable upon enrolement for any course.

♥ Improver lessons - this covers a huge range and can be held in many different ways. You can come as a small group wishing to improve and these can be a one off lesson, a short course or ongoing weekly or fortnightly bespoke lessons. These lessons are perfect for a group who have similar experience and wish to improve together. Lessons of this type are an hour and half and can be arranged at any time. You can come as a pair, a four, or individual to learn about certain topics, or you can have a series of lessons. I can match you up with another pair or individual if you would like me to. 

♠ Seminars - These are two hours and involve a short talk followed by example hands and then discussion of the hands played. These are £20 per person for ASBC members and £25 per person for non members. All seminars will be advertised on this website and Facebook and for each seminar there will be a booking form on the website, on the Homepage.

♣ Bridge Clubs regionally can book a seminar on a particular topic to help their members improve. 

♦ Playing Lessons - Any individual can book to play with Abbey Smith as their partner in events. The cost of this varies with locality and duration, as well as the level of the event, and will include going through the hands afterwards.
