| Welcome |
We welcome all Bridge players!
We wish you a warm welcome to Witney Bridge Club in Oxfordshire.
We play duplicate bridge every Wednesday at 7.00pm. Please arrive by this time to be sure of playing.
Burwell Hall, Thorney Leys, Witney, OX28 5NP
We aim to be both friendly and competitive. That way we can enjoy the challenge of the hands as well as each other’s company. We welcome players of different standards and levels of experience.
We play by the rules, otherwise it would not be Bridge, however, a little more strict adherence is expected from the more experienced players than from novices.
We like the social element of being a club: we stop for a break at half time for a cuppa, decent biscuits and a chat. Twice a year some members bake cakes which are sold for donations to a designated charity.
