We are an EBU affiliated club and some members take part in the Wessex League. We encourage members to train as Directors and/or join the Committee.

Members and Visitors

Our new year starts on 1st April. Membership costs £6 annually. As Pay-to-Play comes in in April 2010 there will no longer be a cost to join the EBU as this will be included in your Table Money of £2 a session with visitors paying £3. 

We play every week of the year except for Xmas and New Year with players, who wish, taking part in inter-club competitions.

We welcome you to the Witney Bridge Club in Oxfordshire. We play bridge every Wednesday 7.15 for 7:30 p.m. at Burwell Hall, Thorney Leys, Witney.

AGM 2010

We will hold our AGM on 21st April at 7pm. Please come to your club's Annual General Meeting - I hope to make it as short as possible but this is the one opportunity all members have of voicing their ideas and opinions and of course for voting in the Committee for next year.

I promised to take on the role of Chairperson for two years and that time is now up so would very much like to keep to my promise and hand the reins over to someone else. Please see the lists that will go up on the board for nominations.

Membership of Witney Bridge Club

We would like to invite all visitors to join the Bridge Club. If you are still thinking about joining you may come three times without doing so after which please join. The current sub is only £6 and the table money £1.50 until the EBU Pay-to-Play system starts in about April.
