Pay-to-Play and Money Matters

Witney Bridge Club is affiliated to the EBU thus anyone and everyone who plays a session of Duplicate bridge whether as a member or a visitor will be part of P2P. Your results will appear on this website and you will be able to see your cash account, master points, etc on your own EBU-administered, personal, passworded page — details of where and how later.

You will no longer have to join the EBU as your subscription will be taken out of the amount you pay when you play — at Witney that will be £2 per session of which 29p goes to the EBU. Visitors will pay £3. Fantastic value as that covers tea/coffee and an excellent selection of biscuits!

Membership of Witney is £6 annually.

Simultaneous Pairs costs £5 and £6 for visitors.

For the Results of Simultaneous Pairs click here. Then find the Event in which we played, then the Results which gives overall results, then on the right hand column under Rankings click on Clubs and finally you will be able to scroll down to the uploaded results for Witney.

Welcome to all bridge players

To all visitors, both those who have been before and prospective ones do come along — you don't have to be a member to play. If you would like a partner please phone Ina on 01608 810375.

Some members take part in the Wessex League. We encourage members to train as Directors and/or join the Committee. We generally have 8–9 tables, a free Open Evening, a Xmas Party and cash prizes for our two Teams Events.

We welcome you to the Witney Bridge Club in Oxfordshire. We play bridge every Wednesday 7.15 for 7:30 p.m. at Burwell Hall, Thorney Leys, Witney, OX28 5NP.
