WBC is a friendly club where new members and visitors are always welcome.
Bridge is held weekly every Monday at 19.15 for a 19.30 start.

(if members know that they are going to be late they are asked to let a member of the committee know in advance or by phone on the night)

Permitted Conventions are regulated by the EBU.

The Committee has decided that only Conventions permitted up to Level 4 (used by most clubs) can be used.  Level 5 Conventions (allowed in high level events) will not be permitted.

This will have almost no impact on most members.  Generally bids that could be either weak or strong are not allowable. Any member who wants to use a weak/strong conventional bid is asked to check in the EBU Blue Book https://www.ebu.co.uk/documents/laws-and-ethics/blue-book/blue-book.pdf and be prepared to demonstrate where either is permitted.
