BRIDGE EVENTS COMING UP SOON ... JUST CLICK ON THE LINKS TO SEE ENTRY DETAILS
Earlier this month the WBU entered teams into the Junior Camrose and Peggy Bayer Junior Internationals which took place in Belfast. Both our teams performed well, especially considering that many of the team had only been playing for a few months! You can help funding the training and development of our Under 25 Junior players by playing in your clubs heat of the WBU YOUTH SIMULTANEOUS PAIRS. Our next target is to have Junior Camrose and Peggy Bayer teams again representing Wales in the 2025 junior home internationals between England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland. To do this we need to raise in excess of £5K per year. We have to support and encourage young players ― they are the future of Welsh Bridge.
NATIONAL CLUB TEAMS OF EIGHT 16th JUNE 2024,11:00hrs-18:00hrs AT GWENT BRIDGE ACADEMY, NEWPORT
The cost is £96 per team. To enter a club team please email nto@welshbridgeunion.org
We hope that your club will select two of the best pairs to represent your club at this popular annual event. The entry fee is £60 per pair which includes a light buffet lunch. The winning club will also receive a prize of £100. To enter your representative pairs your club should email nto@welshbridgeunion.org.
