| Standby Rota |
The Club runs a Standby rota that guarantees members a game if their regular partner is not available. It also provides new potential members an opportunity to experience the Club and find a partner.
Every member participates in the Standby rota except for those who act as Tournament Directors and/or run the ArcScorer system. Acting as Standby means that there is a 50% chance that you won’t get a game yourself. Taking into account competitions when the Standby system does not operate, this means that each member will only appear on the rota once/occasionally twice per year.
The rota is issued on a quarterly basis and is posted on the Club website and noticeboard. If the date assigned is unsuitable, it is the responsibility of the member to arrange a swap and amend the rota on the noticeboard. This means that the definitive rota is on the noticeboard.
