Minna Cannon

Sadly, Minna has died recently, she was a long time club member. Our commiserations go to her family and friends.

Her funeral is to take place on Friday 25 September at 12.45 p.m.in the East Chapel at the West Road, Newcastle crematorium (NE5 2JL).

The club will be running a session of the EBU Handicapped Pairs Championship, on Sunday 6th September at 2pm to approx. 5pm. Playing 28 boards.

Entry fee £5 each (cash on the day), there will be a tea/coffee/soft drink and biscuits/cake break. Entries by email to Secretary.

This is a simultaneous competition where everyone in the country plays the same hands and everyone's final score is adjusted to reflect their current NGS. If your pair's NGS is below an "eight" the final score is increased and above an "eight" it is reduced.
