| Chronicle Cup Qualifiers |
Qualifying sessions are Tuesday 2nd December at 10.00am and Thursday 11th December at 7.00pm.
This is the NEBA's championship pairs event. Heats are held in clubs across the region, with an entry fee of 50p per player (paid by the club). The top 1/3 in each heat will qualify for the semi-finals. Semi-finals will be held at Darlington on Sunday 1st February 2026 1.00 pm, and Brunton on Wednesday 11th February 2026 7.00 pm. The top 16 pairs from the semi finals will qualify for the final. Table money for the semi-finals will be £4 per player. The final will take place at Wearside on Sunday 15th February 2026 1.00 pm. Table money for the final will be £5 per player, and the final is played over 45 boards. The top 3 pairs in the final will be invited to represent NEBA in the national Corwen Trophy.

♠ ♥ It's our Christmas Party on Wednesday 17th December, it starts at 6pm (finishes about 10pm).♦ ♣
Do remember there is no afternoon bridge session on that day.

❖ You are asked to bring along a sharing buffet dish
❖ The Bridge Club will provide free drinks, a variety of soft beverages and wine
❖ We will play Bingo along with our free raffle.
❖ Followed by bridge.

| Rockcliff Rugby Club - Cash for Kids |
Rockcliff Rugby Club are supporting the local Cash for Kids Christmas initiative and if you would like to help, keep your eyes peeled for more details on posters around the club.
Between the 6-14th December 2025 they will be collecting unwrapped gifts, each year they struggle in obtaining suitable gifts for teenagers.

| Children in Need £360 donation |
♠ ♥ We supported Children in Need through the UK Simultaneous bridge event, Entry £5 per person, which will be donated to CiN. Funds will be paid through your on line account, you don't need to do anything, just turn up and play. ♦
Monday 10th November - evening session 24 players and on Friday 14th November - morning session 48 players, this raised £360
