Supervised Gentle Duplicates
Supervised "Gentle" Duplicates

Following the interest shown in the supervised gentle duplicate on-line sessions we have held so far, this is now a regular weekly event on our calendar, on Thursday mornings, starting at 10:30. We play no more than 12 boards, and allow a generous time for each board. There are experienced players on hand to help with any questions you might have. We use RealBridge, which is a friendly and helpful format.

All New Player members are welcome to play. If you and another member want to play together as partners, that's fine. Or, if you have a friend you'd like to bring along to have a try, that's also fine- extra numbers are never a problem. But if you don't have a partner, don't worry. Just tell Dave Tilley (tilsit@btinternet.com / 07984 529673), or Jim Steele (jimsteele_uk@yahoo.com / 07478 312456) and we will do our best to get you fixed up.

Click on Calendar for the dates and start times of all our events, including Gentle Duplicate Pairs.

If you'd like to play, and would like more information, please contact Dave Tilley or Jim Steele.

The results of the Gentle Duplicate Pairs are always posted on the website, though sometimes they won't appear until the day after. See Results tab, or the list of most recent results on the Home page.  You will be able to see your scorecard - how you did on each hand. The deals are also given, so you can always go back and look at any interesting hands or learning points. Most weeks, we also pick a hand and write up some learning points, particularly for the benefit of those who played.
