the Wallingford Bridge Club annual charity competition for Teams of 4

Saturday 26 April 2025 from 1:00pm

£20.00 per person entry fee to include refreshments, with proceeds to Style Acre - a local charity who provide supported living and day opportunities for people with learning disabilities and/or autism (https://styleacre.org.uk).

This is a handicapped event  - anyone can win (more details below)

Number of boards depends on entries, but a minimum of 24 boards with a break for tea halfway

There are two chances to be rewarded for your efforts - Masterpoints based on the "raw" scores, and these will be Stratified, meaning a separate set of Masterpoints just for the teams who are lower ranked based on NGS grades. There will also be prizes, including a cash prize for the winners, based on the Handicapped scores.  Teams are given a handicap based on NGS grades meaning that all teams have an equal chance of taking home the prizes.

The entry fee of £20 per player will be added as a table money charge for 26 April and will be reflected in the balance statements issued at the start of May.
