Within these sub - menus, we try to encompass a few bits of the past of our Bridge Club, because I believe that when you know some of your past, you can be better guided about the direction that your future will hold. An unfortunate episode in our past, saw the theft of a lot of our written records, when a vehicle was broken into. Those surviving records, are kept here for your enjoyment & entertainment................... 

We were pleased to announce the launch of a brand new type of session, designed to help with the transition between learning and playing in sessions at Wakefield Bridge Club. In some ways, this built on sessions already taking place at the Club, but was designed to accelerate the speed of play and decision making involved in a hand of Bridge, greetings and ethical affairs, as well as some of the what you can & what you can't do at the table. This session was being run initially as a three week block, so will it be repeated?

Well, we do now. By popular demand, the next session will be on TBA.

This session was not designed for any members who already play on a regular basis, or already are experienced players - unless you wished to assist with this session as an individual.
