Why go on a Bridge Break or Holiday?
Well simply put, we all need a break from our daily life, so why not try a short / long vacation, where you know that you will have something in common with all the other guests.
As a single person, a couple or a partnership, you will be playing Bridge with a group of similarly minded people, from a variety of backgrounds, from various parts of the country / world - a good chance to chat to them, especially over meals. Some put on extra activities for you to take part in or watch, in addition to the Bridge. If you plan on going on one of these holidays / breaks on your own without a Bridge playing partner, all these Bridge companies offer to match you up with someone for the holiday. They want you to be able to play Bridge, without any pressure to play all the sessions that they have on offer. You always have the option to opt out of playing in any session!
They may be at a venue that perhaps you have never been to before, therefore giving you something different to do & see, in the periods of time when you do not play Bridge. You may even meet someone who becomes a partner for future mutually agreed Bridge Breaks or Holidays, as lots of people have done previously. Marriages have also come about this way!!

Most of our members who go, do so for the January Break, but a few go to the February Break.
